Aksia
"Aksia’s mission is to help the students of MS 582 realize their full potential through mentorship and programs that facilitate the love of learning."

Aksia has recently partnered with MS 582 for an ongoing initiative to impact students through the creation and development of interactive after-school programs. Our focus for 2017 will be helping to expand and support the school’s budding chess program – while student interest and involvement has been apparent, additional funding would allow the school to increase participation, attend competitions, and incorporate professional coaching into the curriculum. All proceeds raised as part of Aksia’s 2017 Summer Cocktails event are donated to Chess NYC and will be used to directly benefit the students of MS 582. We thank you for your support!
